Living by the Spirit
I am alive in my spirit, I do not live according to the ways of the world.
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)
Worldly Influence
Worldly Influence:
People conditioned to worldly ways feel comfortable with sin, lacking a guilty conscience.
They are slaves to the spirit of the world, with desires aligned with worldly pursuits.
Their thoughts and actions are influenced by a demonic entity that justifies their worldliness.
This entity uses their imagination to lead them astray, so that he can steal their destiny.
- "They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts." (Ephesians 4:18)
Guilty Conscience
Guilty Conscience:
Individuals differ from those with a guilty conscience who strive to leave the world behind.
People deeply involved in the world can be wicked.
God recognizes those making efforts to improve, even if they occasionally slip.
The worldly only see wickedness when someone falls back.
Those completely dead to the world no longer crave worldly things.
"But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light." (Ephesians 5:13-14)
